UConn’s Early College Experience (ECE) program lets motivated high school students earn UConn credits while still in high school at a fraction of the cost of regular tuition. Through the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, students can take courses that explore topics such as environmental science, sustainability, natural resources, conservation, and human interactions with the environment. These courses provide an opportunity to experience college-level work, strengthen academic preparation, and explore potential career paths while earning transferable university credit. 

Taught by certified UConn ECE instructors at partner high schools, these courses help students make a smooth transition to college while saving time and money.
