Urban Forestry and Arboriculture

Through the Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture, UConn offers an Urban Forestry and Arboriculture program Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree that prepares students for careers managing and caring for trees, forests, and green spaces in urban and community environments. Usually completed in two years, students gain hands-on learning, field experiences, and applied coursework to build the technical skills needed for careers in arboriculture, urban forestry, natural resource management, and environmental stewardship while preparing for professional certifications and industry opportunities.
